DAMY Future Award commendation
Commendation award received for the new DAMY Tulevaisuus Prize.
This week, I was honoured to receive a commendation from The Friends of Design Museum and the Museum of Finnish Architecture's new DAMY award for my master's thesis.
The Damy Tulevaisuus Prize highlights sustainable and resource-efficient design, as well as visual culture that creates well-being. I'm privileged to have my work recognised alongside others who are advancing these crucial themes in Finnish design and architecture.
Congratulations to the main prize winner Jyri Fält and fellow commendation award winner Praejeen Kunawong. You can read more about the projects at the link below. I am super inspired by this recognition to continue to contribute to sustainability transitions through design approaches in my current work at Falay Transition Design.
Thank you to the jury and also to my supervisor İdil Gaziulusoy for the nomination - and of course my advisor Ferran Altarriba Bertran, Ph.D. whose methodology and support made my whole thesis possible.
